She could read half of the menu and saw that one of the selections was curry rice. I told her to learn to read good enough to order a better meal for me next trip because nothing is in english in this town.

Because she has loved anime for 13 years my daughter is really coming through on this trip. Nobody in Tottori speaks english so far but she is able to converse easily just from studying the language. Tottori is a great little town so we will stay here all day today then wake up and get ourselves back to Tokyo to fly home.
